Is this serum a moisturizer, or do I need to layer another cream over it?
Our all-natural face serum is a deeply hydrating, all-in-one moisturizer and treatment. Because it is highly concentrated with pure botanical ingredients, it delivers both the targeted nutrients of a serum and the lasting hydration of a premium face oil.
Most skin types find they don’t need an extra moisturizer, but if your skin is extra dry, feel free to layer your favorite cream on top!
When should I apply the serum? Can I use it in both the AM and PM?
Yes, absolutely! For the best results, we recommend making it a staple of both your morning and evening skincare routines.
- In the morning: It creates a glowing base that sits beautifully under makeup (if you wear it)
- At night: It works alongside your skin’s natural nighttime repair cycle to lock in deep moisture.
Where in my skincare routine does this serum fit?
Always apply your serum immediately after cleansing with our Oil Cleanser (and toning, if you use one) while your skin is still slightly damp.
Why? Damp skin acts like a sponge, allowing the concentrated nutrients, antioxidants, and essential oils to absorb deeply and work their magic rather than just sitting on the surface.
Will this face serum clog my pores or cause breakouts?
Not at all. We formulated this serum with your skin's health in mind, choosing only lightweight, non-comedogenic carrier oils that closely mimic your skin’s natural oils.
It absorbs quickly, balances your skin’s natural oil production, and breathes beautifully—making it safe and effective for all skin types, including acne-prone and sensitive skin.
How many drops of serum should I use per application?
A little goes a long way! We recommend starting with 1 pump for your entire face and neck. Warm the drops between your palms and gently press them into your skin.
If your skin feels a bit dry, you can add a few drops, especially during your nighttime routine or winter months.
Is the Face Serum scented like your fragrances?
No, we never add anything to give our skincare products a scent. While the Face Serum does have a beautiful, subtle aroma, it comes entirely from the all-natural, plant-based ingredients and raw botanicals we use in the formulas.
